An Cnoc (2022)

An Cnoc (The Mountain) was produced, directed and edited by Seán Hughes. It is an award winning documentary which explores the magic and the spell of Cnoc Bhréanainn (Mount Brandon) upon the people who live in its shadow.

Poetry, visuals, music, and the insights of those people who have a deep connection with the mountain are brought together to provide a lyrical and emotive homage to the landscape.

An Cnoc won best Irish Language Production at the Student Media Awards (Smedias) and the prestigious Fastnet Film Festival. It has been broadcast on Irish national broadcaster TG4.
